Silver naturally oxidises with air, a natural phenomenon that is not an indication of poor quality. To prevent oxidation, keep your jewelry at all times, in the shower and wash your hands.<\/p>\n

When it becomes tarnished or blackened, you can clean it with bicarbonate of soda or lemon. Take a soft cloth for glasses, dampen it and sprinkle a little bicarbonate of soda over it and gently rub the metal. Be careful to rub only the metal parts and not the stones or cold enamel. Then rinse with water before drying. Use the same method with the lemon juice.<\/p>\n
